Not a great night for us. Not terrible either, 3-3 for -1.25 units. We’ll be back in the next couple days now that the main card odds are out for the two fight night events on June 28.
In the co-main event of the night, we had Tyron Woodley to defeat Rory MacDonald. It was another 3 unit bet. All 3 rounds were dominated by MacDonald, there was no question we picked the wrong side in this one, and we lose our 3 unit bet.
In another bout we had 2 bets on, we had Ryan Bader to defeat Rafael Cavalcante and the under 1.5 rounds. Unfortunately, the fight lasted longer than we expected so we lost 2 units on the under, but we profited 2.25 units on the over for a small net profit of 0.25 units.
We had 2 bets on the opening bout of the main card between Ryan Jimmo and Ovince St Preux. Firstly, we had 3 units on OSP to win at 1.75 (-133) and secondly we had 1.5 units on the under 2.5 rounds line of 2.50 (+150). Round 1 was relatively close, but we gave the edge to St Preux in a round that was contested on the feet. Round 2 saw St Preux taking the smart route, taking down Jimmo early in the round. Jimmo broke his arm at some point and verbally submitted, giving OSP the win in the middle of the second round. Both bets cash! We profit 4.50 units!
The first leg of our first parlay was on the second fight of the prelims where we had Mike Easton to defeat Yves Jabouin in the bantamweight division division. Unfortunately, Easton couldn’t do enough to take the victory as Jabouin showed some diverse striking and spent more time in top control. We lose our 3 unit bet on Easton and Sarafian.
