In the main event, Joe Warren and Marcus Galvao will do battle for Warren’s Bellator bantamweight title. Warren is 12-3 overall and is currently riding a 5 fight win streak. Warren is 38 years old. Galvao is 32 years old and 16-6-1 overall and is riding a 3 fight win streak. Interestingly, if we look into the guys Galvao beat in his last 3, they have a combined record of 21-10. Warren’s last 3 opponents have a combined record of 59-13. If we break this down into winning percentages, Galvao’s opponents have a 68% winning percentage while Warren’s opponents have a winning percentage of 82%. Needless to say, Warren will be a big step up in competition for Galvao. Basically everything we see leans towards Warren, but the one big question mark is Warren’s age. Regardless as a slight worse than 2 to 1 favourite, we think Warren’s well worth having in a parlay. We made him our first parlay leg at 1.45 (-220) at Bookmaker.
The second leg of our 2 team free betting tip parlay will be Francis Carmont to defeat Guilherme Viana. This fight really seems like a lob ball for Carmont to kick of his Bellator run with a big win. Does anyone really think Viana, who has 2 wins over guys with winning records in his career and last fought in the organization “The Hill Fighters” (what in the fuck?) stands a chance against a former UFC competitor. Overall, Carmont is 22-10 and was cut from the UFC on a 3 fight losing skid. Prior to that though, he won 6 straight in the UFC, the culmination of which was his UFC 165 win over Costa Philippou where he basically was able to hold Philippou down for 3 straight rounds. We expect Carmont to play it safe and take down and hold down Viana to a decision win. He does have 6 TKOs and 10 submissions to his name and the skill gap could be big enough that a finish comes easy. Regardless, we don’t expect this leg of our parlay to be in any doubt. We made Carmont the second leg of our parlay at 1.36 (-276) at Bookmaker. The resulting bet is a 2 unit parlay of Warren and Carmont at 1.98 (-102) at Bookmaker.
That’s it for our Bellator 135: Warren vs Galvao free betting tip. Remember, if we happen to release more tips for the event, they will only be available to our CapperTek subscribers.
