Bellator 144: Halsey vs Carvalho goes down tomorrow night and kicks off back to back nights of betting action as we have this one free play on Bellator 144 as well as a free betting tip for UFC Dublin: Holohan vs Smolka and at least 2 paid tips only available via Cappertek. Our bets have been on a decent roll lately as we we’ve profited at 3 straight events. Overall, in 2015, we have had some big profits like we did in 2014, but we have managed to avoid the big meltdowns that seemed to visit us more often a year ago. This means our ROI for 2015 is almost double what it was in 2014 at 13.33%. You can get the full details of all our bets in our betting track record.
At Bellator 144, there’s only 4 fights to bet and 3 out of 4 have favourites with lines that pay worse than 1.10 (-1000). It’s always tough to come up with bets on a card with so many huge favourites, but we do like the only non-lopsided fight for a bet. As has become our standard practice, we’ll keep the Bellator bet to just 1 unit, saving our bigger bets for the more trustworthy UFC fighters. Opening the main card on Spike TV will be a featherweight fight between Goiti Yamauchi and Isao Kobayashi. Both men have identical 18-2 overall records. Yamauchi has fought 5 times for Bellator already, going 4-1 while Kobayashi will be making his promotional debut. Kobayashi actually had some interest from the UFC as 2 deals with the promotion apparently fell through. Yamauchi is just 22 years old while Kobayashi is 26. Our model favours the debuting Kobayashi in this spot against the sometimes inconsistent Yamauchi. We placed a 1 unit bet on Kobayashi at 2.50 (+150) at 5Dimes.
That’s it for our Bellator 144 free betting tip. Remember to get all our bets for the weekend on our Cappertek profile.
