Belfort vs Henderson III goes down this Saturday night from Sao Paulo, Brazil. We’re here with what will be our first UFC bet of November, although we did already release a free bet for UFC 194: Aldo vs McGregor. In terms of our results this year, it’s been pretty steady with a lot of very profitable events and very few losing events. The main difference that has made us much more profitable this year vs last year is we aren’t straying from our strategy nearly as often and thus avoiding the very bad nights. You can see our results for this year as well as our entiry betting history in our betting track record. Of course, we are also third party tracked at CapperTek where you can also purchase our full betting tips.
Our free bet for Saturday’s fights will be what has become pretty standard for us; that is a 2 unit parlay with 2 chalky favourites. The first leg of the parlay will be Thomas Almeida who fights Anthony Birchak in a bantamweight fight that will be in the middle of the main card just before the co-main event. Almeida is a 24 year old 20-0 Brazilian fighter who is 3-0 so far in the Octagon with 2 wins coming by TKO. 15 of his 20 overall wins have come by TKO which indicates he likes to finish fights on the feet. His opponent Anthony Birchak is 29 years old and will be the road dog here as he is an American fighting out of Tucson, Arizona. Overall, Birchak is 12-2 and is 1-1 in his two Octagon appearances. He is more likely to go for a sub that a TKO with 6 submission victories and 4 TKOs and in a fight with Almeida that is likely a better strategy. We like Almeida even as the big favourite and our model also heavily favours him. Even at 1.24 (-420), we will be using him as our first parlay leg.
Our second parlay leg will be Johnny Case who fights Yan Cabral in the “co-main event” of the prelims. Case is 26 years old and 21-4 overall. He has won all 3 of his Octagon appearances so far and is currently riding an 11 fight winning streak. He is another guy who looks for TKOs with 12 of his 21 wins coming that way. His opponent Yan Cabral is 32 years old and 12-1 overall. Cabral has 3 fights in the UFC so far and has gone 2-1. As a Brazilian, he will have home field advantage on Saturday. Unlike Case, Cabral favours the submission with 11 of his 12 victories coming by tap out. Even as a 1.42 (-240) favourite, we like Case enough to make him the second leg of our 2 team parlay. That leaves us with a 2 unit parlay of Johnny Case and Thomas Almeida for odds of 1.75 (-133) at BetOnline.
