We have continued to prove in 2016 why our bets are the best value in the industry as we are up just under 35 units on the first two cards with an outstanding ROI of 98%. That means for every hundred dollars you have tailed us with in 2016, you have profited $98. These results follow a stellar 2015 where we were up a total of 60 units with an ROI of just over 12%. Don’t just take our word for these numbers, we are third party tracked at both CapperTek and betmma.tips since 2015. Enough about our record, let’s get into the bet!

In the main event, highly ranked light heavyweights Anthony Johnson and Ryan Bader will collide in a fight that is very likely to end with someone lying flat on their back on the canvas. Anthony Johnson has an interesting story as he fought for the UFC from 2007 to 2012 as a middleweight and welterweight, but missed weight 3 times. He was actually cut after his first fight at middleweight where he lost a submission to Vitor Belfort. At that time his UFC record was 7-4. In August, 2012, he fought for the first time as a light heavyweight, TKOing Esteves Jones in Titan FC. Since then, he has looked virtually unstoppable, winning 3 fights in WSOF before resigning with the UFC in 2014 where he has gone 4-1 with his only loss coming to division champ Daniel Cormier in a fight where Johnson was able to rock Cormier early on, but his gas tank ran out in the second and third round and he eventually succumbed to a rear naked choke. He bounced back in September, 2015 with a TKO win over Jimi Manuwa. Johnson is 31 years old. His opponent, Ryan Bader also has a long history in the UFC. He debuted for the organization in December, 2008, winning the TUF 8 light heavyweight tourney over Vinny Magalhaes. He has gone 13-4 overall in the UFC, but the thing that really stands out in his recent performances on his current 5 fight win streaks has been his wrestling and control from the top once he gets guys down. All 5 of the wins have been by decisions where his wrestling played a big part. In next Saturday’s main event, our model favours Johnson and even as a 1.29 (-350) favourite, we think he’s worth betting. On the feet, we think Johnson’s power will be too much for Bader to handle and should Bader go for takedowns, we think Johnson’s takedown defense (which is up there with the best in the division) will be enough to stuff any takedowns. Anthony Johnson will be the first leg of our free parlay.

For the second leg of our free play we have to go a ways down the card to the main event of the Fight Pass prelims where Levan Makashvili fights Damon Jackson. Both Makashvili and Jackson are relative newcomers to the UFC with 2 fights for the promotion each. Overall, Makashvili is 7-2 and has split his Octagon appearances, going 1-1. Jackson is 9-1-1, but the extra 1 in his record was a submission loss to Rony Jason that was eventually overturned when Jason tested positive for a banned diuretic. Makashvili’s only loss on the other hand was a split decision to top 10 featherweight Hacran Dias. Our model favours the favourite in this fight, Makashvili and at 1.34 (-290) we decided to make him the second leg of our two team free bet parlay. The bet is 2 units on Levan Makashvili to defeat Damon Jackson and Anthony Johnson to defeat Ryan Bader at 1.76 (-135) at 5Dimes.
