UFC Fight Night 93: Arlovski vs Barnett is less than 24 hours away! The card goes down Saturday morning (for those of us in North America anyway) from Hamburg, Germany and for a fight pass card it actually features some decent fights. Obviously, the main event is one of them as it features top 10 heavyweights Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett, but we also have 3 top 15 ranked light heavyweights in the 2 bouts preceding the main event. We’re really looking forward to the card and it helps that we have four, 4 unit bets. 4 unit bets are our most confident plays so we’re hoping to bring home a huge profit tomorrow. If you want to check out all our plays, they’re available at Cappertek for just $9.95. In addition to those plays, we have a 2 unit parlay that we’ll be bringing you in this post!

The first parlay leg is a heavy favourite. We have Alexander Gustafsson to defeat Jan Blachowicz in the light heavyweight co-main event that we expect to be fairly one sided. Gustafsson makes his return to the Octagon after almost a year away following a split decision loss to Daniel Cormier for the title. It was the second time Gustafsson has lost a decision for the light heavyweight title; the first being the epic 5 round war against Jon Jones in September, 2013. Outside of those two losses and a TKO loss to Anthony Johnson (who doesn’t get TKO’d by that monster?), Gustafsson has always looked excellent in his UFC bouts going 7-1 for the promotion. At 29 years old, his best years should still be ahead of him. His opponent Jan Blachowicz is 2-2 in the UFC and 19-5 overall. At 33 years of age he could start to slow down over the next couple years. Similarl to almost all of his fights, the 6’5″ Gustafsson will possess a significant reach advantage against the 6’2″ Blachowicz and he is a master of making use of his range. Gustafsson is incredibly difficult to take down so that is not really a concern. We see Gustafsson dominating the striking on route to a clear cut 3 round decision. He is leg 1 of our parlay at 1.17 (-585).

To find the second leg of our parlay, we have to go quite a bit further down the card to the heavyweight contest between Jarjis Danho and Christian Colombo. Danho is 6’3″ and weighed in at 258 lbs. He lost his lone UFC contest via decision to Daniel Omielanczuk and that dropped his career record to 6-1. His opponent Christian Colombo stands 6’5″, weighed in at 251 lbs and is the older of the two at 36 years old. There’s several reasons we like Danho here. Firstly, he already fought in the UFC and while his performance wasn’t amazing, he survived to a decision against a UFC heavyweight in Daniel Omielanczuk. UFC jitters should not be much of an issue for him tomorrow. Secondly, he is 4 years younger than Colombo. It may not be a huge factor, but any fighter who is North of 35 is always a bit of a risk. Thirdly, you can see in Danho’s fight tape that he likes to go for takedowns. In Colombo’s fight tape, you can see he is pretty susceptible to takedowns. We fully expect Danho to exploit this if things aren’t going great for him on the feet and at worst it should allow him to cruise to a decision. We made Danho the second leg of our two team parlay. The bet is 2 units on Gustafsson and Danho at 2.14 (+114) at Bookmaker.eu.
