UFC on FOX 24 goes down tomorrow night from Kansas City, Missouri. The main event features Demetrious Johnson defending his flyweight title against Wilson Reis. The undercard is pretty solid too with top middleweight contenders, Robert Whittaker and Jacare Souza doing battle and future women’s strawweight title hopefuls Michelle Waterson and Rose Namajunas in the co-main event. We decided to hang on to most of our bank roll and just watch this one as there weren’t a ton of lines we liked, but to get our single bet for the event, head over to our Cappertek page. This post will detail a couple prop bets we think could cash big!
UFC 210: Cormier vs Johnson II is just a week away and we’re pumped! Coming off a 3 week break always makes a card feel extra special. Even more so when it’s a pay-per view featuring a great title defense in the main event! In terms of our bets, we’re coming off a profit of more than 10 units in a clean sweep at the UFC London card and we’ll be looking to add to that on Saturday night. You can tail all our bets for just $9.95 by signing up on our Cappertek profile.
Cormier/Johnson – Under 1.5 Rounds
In their first meeting, Rumble managed to rock Cormier early. As one of the most powerful men in the UFC, Johnson tends to do this to a lot of his opponents. What Johnson is not known for is good cardio. If he is going to win, it is almost certainly a TKO and it is almost certainly early. You could bet Johnson to win by TKO which pays 2.33 (+133), but I’d prefer the protection offered by the under 1.5 rounds which sits at a similar line of 2.30 (+130). Basically betting the under 1.5 rounds instead of the Johnson by TKO prop comes down to the fact that for basically the same line we get protection against a Cormier finish early and we only give up a late TKO by Johnson which we see as pretty unlikely anyway given his past cardio issues.
After 4 awesome winning events, we came back down to earth with UFC on FOX 18: Johnson vs Bader. Overall, we went 2-4 for a loss of 5.75 units. Even with the approximately 6 unit loss though, we still made almost 30 units in January which will go down as our best month in history. We’ll look to keep that momentum going in February starting with UFC Fight Night 82: Hendricks vs Thompson which we will likely have our free bet out for tomorrow night! We’re just a week away from UFC on FOX 18: Johnson vs Bader which goes down Saturday, January 30 from the Prudential Center in Neward, New Jersey. As usual, we’re here with a free bet, but if you want to get all our bets, you’ll need to sign up at CapperTek. For just $9.95, you’ll get all our bets for the event. If you want to follow us for a longer period of time, $24.95 on January 27th or later will get you the UFC on FOX 18 card, UFC 196: Werdum vs Velasquez II, and fight nights Cowboy vs Means and Silva vs Bisping. We have continued to prove in 2016 why our bets are the best value in the industry as we are up just under 35 units on the first two cards with an outstanding ROI of 98%. That means for every hundred dollars you have tailed us with in 2016, you have profited $98. These results follow a stellar 2015 where we were up a total of 60 units with an ROI of just over 12%. Don’t just take our word for these numbers, we are third party tracked at both CapperTek and betmma.tips since 2015. Enough about our record, let’s get into the bet!
UFC 191: Johnson vs Dodson II was a relatively light night of betting for us. For the most part we expected the favourites to be able to pull through, but we weren’t confident enough to pull the trigger. Keeping it to just 3 bets for 6 units total appeared to be the right decision as we ended up slightly up on the night and we can save our big betting nights for the times we feel more confident! You can check out our full results for UFC 191 or any other UFC event in 2015 via third party tracking site CapperTek. We have a couple weeks off now with the next event we will likely have bets on being Bellator 142: Dynamite on September 19, followed up the next weekend by UFC Japan: Nelson vs Barnett.
