UFC 209: Woodley vs Thompson II goes down tonight. The main event fight between Woodley and Thompson is a rematch of their epic draw at UFC 205 in November. The card lost a lot of its lustre after Khabib Nurmagomedov was forced to withdraw after being taken to hospital during his weight cut for an interim lightweight title bout against Tony Ferguso (who we actually had a bet on), but it is still a pretty solid pay-per-view card albeit a bit top heavy. From a betting perspective, this card is awesome! We have a total of 5 bets risking 17 units. 4 of those 5 bets are our most confident 4 unit plays and you can get them for just $9.95 at Cappertek.
UFC Fight Night 104 goes down tonight from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The lone fight pass prelim kicks off at 6:30 pm while the televised prelims start at 7 and the main card starts at 9. In total, we have 4 bets on the crd and we’re risking 14 units. We’ll give away one of those bets here, but the rest are available at cappertek for just $9.95.
UFC 207: Nunes vs Rousey goes down this Friday night from the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. Obviously the biggest story line of the event is Rousey’s return to competition after a year away following a knockout loss to Holly Holm. We won’t be focusing on that in this post although we do have a bet on that fight which you can get from our Cappertek page. This post will be more focused on the co-main event bantamweight title bout between Dominick Cruz and Cody Garbrandt which will be where our free bet takes place. In terms of our results this year, we had an amazing month of January profiting almost 30 units across 5 events which was followed up by several losing events. We still came out ahead and have been crushing the bookies the second half of the year. In the last 10 or so events we’re up over 20 units and we’ll be looking to build on that with 5 bets risking 10 units at UFC 207. Remember, you can get all our bets for just $9.95 exclusively at Cappertek.
Man, it’s been a while since the last UFC event. We had 8 straight weekends with UFC events from August 6 to October 8 before UFC Fight Night 97: Lamas vs Penn was cancelled just before it was scheduled to take place on October 15. Once again though, we go into a marathon of UFC events with a crazy schedule of 10 events in the final 2 months of 2016. Anyway, on to this weekend’s card which features Rafael Dos Anjos and Tony Ferguson in the main event in a fight which could very likely determine the next contender for the lightweight belt after Alvarez and McGregor fight for it at UFC 205 on November 12. We have one free bet for this event which we’ll get to below, but remember to subscribe on Cappertek to get access to all our bets. We currently forecast 7 total bets for the event, but we also at least 3 bets we’re likely to make on Bellator 163: McGeary vs Davis so any package you buy will get you a lot of bets for your dollar!
UFC 204: Bisping vs Henderson goes down tomorrow night from the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. The main event features local hero Michael Bisping taking on Dan Henderson in what Henderson has said will be his final fight win or lose. Their first fight way back at UFC 100 ended in one of the most violent knockouts in UFC history as Henderson got the better of Bisping half way through round 2. It would be awesome to see Henderson finish his career by winning the belt, but as sports handicappers, we can’t recommend a bet on the fight. Anyway, in terms of bets we do have for the event, we don’t love this card from a betting perspective, but we did find a few spots we like.
