UFC 209: Woodley vs Thompson II goes down tonight. The main event fight between Woodley and Thompson is a rematch of their epic draw at UFC 205 in November. The card lost a lot of its lustre after Khabib Nurmagomedov was forced to withdraw after being taken to hospital during his weight cut for an interim lightweight title bout against Tony Ferguso (who we actually had a bet on), but it is still a pretty solid pay-per-view card albeit a bit top heavy. From a betting perspective, this card is awesome! We have a total of 5 bets risking 17 units. 4 of those 5 bets are our most confident 4 unit plays and you can get them for just $9.95 at Cappertek.
UFC Fight Night 89: MacDonald vs Thompson goes down this Saturday night from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. We’ll be there live and are obviously pumped about that! In terms of bets for the event, we’re currently looking at placing a total of 6 bets for 15 units. We’ll be looking for our second straight profit after a decent night at UFC 199: Rockhold vs Bisping. To get our full bets for the event, sign up at Cappertek.
UFC Fight Night 82: Hendricks vs Thompson went down last night and it was another profitable night for The Fight Predictor! Overall, we went 2-2 for a profit of 2.28 units. It’s not our best profit, but it falls right in line with our typical ROI of 20% or so and honestly we’d take 20% ROI at every event vs the enormous variance we’ve been seeing lately. Next up is UFC Fight Night 83: Cowboy vs Cowboy on February 21. To get our full picks for that and any other event, sign up at CapperTek.
UFC Fight Night 82: Hendricks vs Thompson goes down this Saturday night from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Originally UFC 196: Werdum vs Velasquez II, the event was ultimately changed to a FOX Sports 1 card when both heavyweight champ and challenger were forced to pull out with injuries. This card has a lot of decent sized favourites which is in contrast to a lot of UFC cards lately where top to bottom it was tough going in to tell how most of the fights would turn out. This also means less betting opportunities for us. We decided to go with a 3 team parlay for our free betting tip, bet outside of that, there’s only 3 guys we’re currently eyeing for bets. To get our full bets or to see our third party tracked track record, check out our CapperTek page. For just $9.95, you can get this week’s bets or you could get a 30 day membership which will get you the next 4 events including UFC 196: Dos Anjos vs McGregor. In terms of our recent results, January 2016 will go down as our best month in history. We profited just under 30 units which means we are already close to making half our total from 2015 in just one month! We were profitable in 9 of 12 months in 2015 and even our losing months were relatively small losses so signing up for a 30 day membership is a pretty solid bet!
The TUF 21 Finale: Ellenberger vs Thompson went down last night from Las Vegas and while it wasn’t too bad a card, it looked way worse considering the epic fights that had gone down the night before at UFC 189: Mendes vs McGregor. The event marked our sixth straight profit as we went 2-1 on our 4 unit plays and split our 2 unit plays, 1-1. When you’re betting primarily underdogs though, those are awesome numbers to hit. The 3-2 overall record resulted in a decent profit of 5.60 units. Our free tip for Wednesday’s UFC Fight Night 71: Mir vs Duffee has already been posted and you can get all the bets on our CapperTek page!
